Über den Autor

Even as a child, I was fascinated by the world of electronics. I was fortunate to grow up in a time when I was still in contact with tubes and was able to witness the modernization of electronics. I bought my first computer at the beginning of the 80s, it was a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A, which had to endure various tinkering, among other things the memory was also expanded. Until the early 90s I worked as a hardware developer in an environmental technology company. After that, my professional focus shifted to pure software development. For the last 20 years I worked as a software developer at the OpenText company, but I've never lost sight of the connection to electronics. I've been retired since 2023 and run the technology group at a primary school to introduce students to the technology of soldering and building circuits and to carry out exciting experiments.
