BLE Sliding Gate Controller
Uses the STM32WB5MM-BK Evaluation board to open and close a sliding gate. The system is controlled by an Android App installed on any Android phone (Android Studio based Source Code project provided).
An STM32WB5MM-BK Evaluation board equipped with a GPS and 12 Volt 43 Amp Full H-Bridge module to drive an electric motor which opens and closes a sliding gate. The system uses Bluetooth via an Android App to :
1. Open or Close the gate. Gate position is supplied to the App via Bluetooth so the user knows if the gate is currently open or closed.
2. Log all activity (date/time stamped) to an attached SD card and send to Bluetooth App on demand.
The project is not limited to a gate application but can be utilized for any motorized application with limit switches, whether those switches are mechanical, optical or hall effect.
