The THM line extends the range of high performance DC/DC converters. They come in standard DIP-24 package and are available in three power classes: 3 Watt (THM 3WI series), 6 Watt (THM 6WI series) and 10 Watt (THM 10WI series). They all provide ultra wide 4:1 input voltage ranges and input filter to meet EN55022 class A without external components. With an efficiency of around 90% and the use of highest grade components they reliably operate in a temperature range of -40 to +85°C, without power derating. The I/O-isolation system is tested with 5000 VAC and it is rated for 250 VAC working voltage. Together with a low leakage current <2µA the THM Series comply with latest medical safety requirements for 2 x MOPP (approved to AAMI/ANSI ES 60601-1:2005(R) and IEC/EN 60601-1 3rd edition). The converters constitute also a reliable solution for various demanding applications i.e. transportation systems, industrial control equipment, power electronic & motor drive circuits, measurement equipment, smart grid technologies and signal switching functions.
